Cheerson CX-10C Quadcopter for only $22,90!
Every day we get new things to have fun with, and to be amazed by, but there are some items that somehow conquer our geekheart.
So here’s the thing–we’ve tested a lot of RC Helicopters, Quadcopters and Hexacopters here at PandaCheck. If it flies with the help of spinning blades and can be purchased on a budget Chinese webshop, we’ve probably tested it, are waiting for it to arrive, or have thought about testing it. And in the past, we've tested the little Cheerson CX-10, and back then were already quite impressed by it. But now his big brother has arrived.
The Cheerson CX-10C.
Better, faster, stronger, and: with a cam! Do we need to say more?
As you can tell, it is definetely a bargain, so my first question is: What are you still waiting for?
Another half year has passed, and now Cheerson has released a new variation of it's CX collection, the CX-10x. The main feature this time: It's got a built-in camera, in a nano quadcopter. How amazing is this? This more significant update should warrant a look even from initiated enthusiasts already owning another version. Wheter you're on of these people or just completely new to the hobby, you probably got 2 questions in common:
Is the camera any good and how does it compare to the other models?
The answer: really well. Even I, perhaps the most RC Copter-impaired member of the team, was able to make it work. Also, after a few minutes I was flying like a pro. The Cheerson features very relaxed and stable flight behavior, and is probably one of the coolest gift ideas for that special child (or grown-up) in your life.
So go get it on:
- On Gearbest for $22,99 (coupon code: XHSBB)
- On Allbuy for $22,99
- On Banggood for $27,99
Let's begin by telling you that not that much has changed on the outside. Also length and width are the same. The differences are subtle, as in for example the paint job. It is of a higher quality, but this time you can only choose between two colours, orange and black. The new logo is also now printed on the little drone, visible to the common eye. And the most important new item, the camera. Most changes include the increased height compared to the older models, the inclusion of a microSD card slot, and the on/off button has moved it's side.
Battery gets a bump too, from 100mAh to a slightly more respectable 120mAH. But the added power drawing by the camera will probably make up for the extra 20. The manufacturer mentions that the CX-10C can do about 4 minutes in flight, but as you can see in the video below, we've tested it in our own little office, and are quite satisfied with the flight time and speed.
To speak of numbers, the new camera has 0.3 megapixel or VGA, and we know that doesn't sound like a lot, but let's face it: You are not buying this little beauty because of it's photography capacity. This is supposed to be a fun factor, not a professional device for images. The trim buttons on the controller will now serve as the photo button, which means there'll be a little less control that you will have during flight time. But let me tell you: You will barely notice it.
Quick summary:
- Cheerson CX-10C
- Size group: Nano
- Battery: 120mAh
- Camera: 0.3MP
